Warrior Yoga

As we rest into savasana, and over the course of this week, we come back to think about our strengths, we come back to the values that we offer to the world…
A local Baha’i put his hand on my shoulder as I was leaving a large event. “I always know when you are here,” he said. “You fill all the rooms of our home with laughter.”
…We think about our truth, our dhamma. Often our actions are out of line with our truth. This creates a sense of discontinuity, and fosters internal and external turmoil in our lives. This week work to bring forth the truth you gain from your practice into consciousness in daily life.
“I just want to take a moment to honor you,” Julie Walker said, suddenly, out of nowhere. She paused. “You are very strong and very good. You had nothing to model yourself after all your life. You had to reinvent the wheel, reinvent your relationship to God, to everything. And you choose goodness. You are completely on the mark about who you are and why you are here today.”
“I don’t feel that way at all,” I said.
“But it is true. You are amazing. You are in power. Be free.”
